ITO@UGA

Are you interested in innovation through public research? Are you a researcher at the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA) and would like to promote your research results and transfer them to the socio-economic and cultural world? You are a company or a local authority and would like to innovate through UGA research

Innovation is plural in its nature (breakthrough innovation, innovation in use, organisational innovation, etc.) and in its impact (direct transfer, start-up creation, etc.). At the UGA, we support and encourage all these forms of valorisation and transfer. We cultivate innovation and accompany all stakeholders (researchers and actors from the socio-economic and cultural world) for successful transfers.

The stakes are high:

  • To allow the population to benefit from the results of public research (new products, new services, etc.).
  • Contribute to socio-economic and cultural development and create jobs.
  • To obtain additional means to finance research (notably through partnership contracts with the beneficiaries of the transfers).
  • Benefit from the positive effects on the UGA's brand image for training and research (excellence and openness to the outside world).
  • And finally, to control the appropriation of research results by third parties.

Valorisation is a virtuous circle. Our brand new service unit, bringing together the vital forces of the UGA and Grenoble INP-UGA, is at the crossroads of innovation: it is available to all innovation players to support the development and transfer of our innovative results. It covers the entire transformation chain, from the detection of the result to its adoption by a third party, in interaction with our innovation ecosystem: the UGA is familiar with all the mechanisms (such as the SATT Linksium Grenoble Alpes), knows how to articulate, qualify and direct your projects, ensuring continuity in the support for successful transfers. We are also committed to raising awareness and training in innovation in order to further enhance our development dynamics.
